The Possibility Project with Mending As Metaphor presents Landfill Harmonic

‘The world sends us garbage, we send back music’

We live in an unprecedented time of social and environmental upheaval, so what might the possibilities look like when there is harmony between the two?  You are warmly invited to take part in a special screening of Landfill Harmonic, a feature length documentary that follows the journey of a Paraguayan Youth Orchestra that makes its instruments entirely out of waste. The film masterfully demonstrates how ordinary people can make extraordinary choices to rise above conflict and create so much hope in the process.

The Possibility Project is an Australian based social enterprise, they collaborate with slum communities in India to create a slow clothing label called slumwear108, they will share their own insights on how people around the world are collaborating to enact peaceful social and environmental cohesion.

Join us for a wine and cheese gathering, a viewing of the film and a Q+A with The Possibility Project‘s founders, Kim Pearce and Kath Davis. There will also be a pop-up of clothing from the slumwear108 line.

Note: There is no charge for this program but please RSVP as space is limited @
